Cash 4 Clubs

Sports club that are registered with their sport’s National Governing Body or local authority can apply for grants of up to £1,000 through the Cash 4 Clubs grants scheme. This is a unique chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and generally invest in the sustainability of your club. There are three tiers of grants at £250, £500 and £1,000. Applications can be made at any time. More information can be found here

Aspiring Athlete Scheme

This is a programme designed to help athletes get to the next step in their sporting achievement. The aim is to provide assistance and free access to the leisure facilities, to assist athletes to achieve their full potential and work towards world class performance levels. Herts Youth Games 2012


Would you like to be a part of team Hertsmere and help us win this year's games, held in July?

Nominations are currently open. Children and Young people can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone each, their coach, teacher or parent.


Herts Youth Games attracts over 1,000 young people from across Hertfordshire. If you would like to nominate yourself or find out about the trials and training, please contact helen.bottomley@hertsmere.gov.uk or call 020 8207 7801.

Trials and training will take place from April to July.


The youth games is a celebration of sport, don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!

Canoe England - BCU Discipline Support Module Slalom – Part 1

The course is aimed at all coaches, focusing on how they coach as well as the beginnings of Slalom specific knowledge of what to coach.
At Lee Valley White Water Centre on October 21st 2012. From 9am till 4pm.
Course Fees: £50 (This includes the £17.50 CR Form). Application Deadline: 5 weeks prior to start date. Sept 17th 2012.
Sports Makers Course
