Home-Start New Volunteers Course - Potters Bar

Home-Start supports families with young children. Volunteers visit one family for a couple of hours each week, offering them support, encouragement and friendship. In return volunteers benefit by gaining experience, confidence and making new friends. Most employers take account of valuable voluntary work.  Expenses will be paid.

We welcome all ages, background and gender, but must have some parenting experience. All volunteers will be CRB checked.

The next volunteer preparation course starts on Wednesday 29th February (every Wednesday 9:45 – 2:30 pm for 10 weeks excluding Easter holidays) at PB1 Children’s Centre, Oakmere Primary School, Chace Avenue, Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 5NP.

To find out more about volunteering in Potters Bar please ring 020 8953 5082  or email: enquiries@home-startbw.org.uk
