Free level 3 Money Adviser Training


Miriam Facey Financial Inclusion Officer from Affinity Sutton has a spaces for 15 Borehamwood residents to attend FREE training for generalist money advisers. They will be trained to Level 3 in providing generalist money guidance for Affinity Sutton residents.


In return, they must commit to providing at least 15 hours voluntary assistance to Affinity Sutton residents within the year after they have completed their training.

Safeguarding & protecting Children workshop for Hertsmere Clubs

Hertsmere Borough Council in partnership with the Herts Sports Partnership are hosting a Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop on Monday 21st January from 630-930pm at Queens School in Bushey.


This workshop aims to increase awareness of safeguarding and protecting children, helping coaches to recognise signs of abuse and poor practice, and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of coaching practice to ensure that sport provides a positive and enriching experience for children.

Basic Child Protection (Safeguarding Training) for Child Minders & Early Years Staff

The dynamic, high quality course enables the participants to fulfill the Ofsted requirement of child protection training for all staff. It focuses on relevant issues for those working with / coming into contact with children today

CIEH Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles

Who is it for? - Employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness and undertaking  fire safety roles wardens/marshals/stewards.


What is it about? This qualification provides employees with the knowledge to help them carry out designated duties relating to fire safety and emergency procedures in the workplace.


What will I learn? The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) requires an employer to appoint and provide adequate training for one or more ‘competent persons’ to assist in fire safety in the workplace.
